Is Hyvop really self-hosted?
Yes. It runs on your Kubernetes cluster with your LLM keys.
How is Hyvop different from AWS Cost Explorer or a visibility dashboard?
Cost Explorer reports waste. Hyvop handles the cloud cost optimization work it leaves undone, finding the owner and showing the plan with whom to ask. Running the approval in Slack or Teams and executing the approved fix are planned.
What happens if the Hyvop agent makes a mistake?
In this beta Hyvop executes nothing: it shows a plan and whom it would ask. When execution arrives, every destructive change goes to the people responsible for it, in the right order, first, and every step is logged.
Is Hyvop Community Edition actually free, or is it a trial?
It is free, self-hosted, and requires no credit card. Dashboards, AWS, Azure and GCP detectors, and remediation previews are included, within the published limits: 1 cloud account, up to 1,000 resources, 3 remediation policies, 30 days of data, and remediation in preview only.
Does Hyvop support multi-cloud environments?
Community has AWS, Azure and Google Cloud ingestors (one cloud account at a time). Pro adds Kubernetes; Enterprise has all of them, with Databricks, Snowflake and AI. VMware, Oracle Cloud and Alibaba Cloud are on the roadmap.
Does Hyvop ever get access to our cloud credentials?
No. It uses scoped IAM roles you control, keeps the credentials encrypted in your cluster, and does not read workload data.
How do I identify and eliminate cloud waste?
Hyvop's 55+ detectors flag idle and oversized resources. It then finds the owner, runs the approval in Slack or Teams, and executes the approved fix. Savings are verified against your actual bill.
